Wound Center

Hard-to heal wounds have many causes such as sores, ulcers. Open wounds may be caused by poor circulation, venous insufficiency, lymphedema, diabetes, pressure, genetics, malignancy, inflammatory diseases, infection, certain medications, surgery or trauma.

These wounds may have been present for a long time and despite various treatments, have not improved, causing pain, worry and lost time from work.

Our Wound Center offers treatment for non-healing wounds, sores and ulcers. We strive to find the cause and develop an individualized treatment program to help you heal and get you back to everyday living.

Assessment and Treatment

Once an in-depth assessment is completed, a treatment plan is designed to relieve pain and speed healing. Patients with chronic wounds may need to be seen in the Wound Center on an ongoing basis.

Education and Prevention

After a comprehensive wound care plan is developed, yo will be given instructions on how to care for the wound at home and prevent the wound from reoccuring.
