City of Ellsworth: Lyme Disease Forum

Lyme disease continues to be a growing concern in Maine, with 1,111 cases of Lyme disease reported across the state in 2012. In both Washington and Hancock Counties, rates of Lyme disease have increased steadily in recent years and in 2011 and 2012, Hancock County reported Lyme disease rates higher than the state average.
