Maine Coast Memorial Hospital works to make a difference in the health of those living in our community. We value our opportunity to make meaningful contributions in patient care, research and education in ways that can make a positive impact now and for years to come.
Last year the Hospital provided more than $9 million for the care of the poor and to offset insufficient Medicaid and uncompensated care payments. In addition, the Hospital sponsors and participates in numerous programs and activities to benefit the people of Ellsworth and surrounding communities.
